:pointr: [NEWS] :pointl:

There are people who I cherish because of how close I feel to them. There are people that cater differently towards what I need. I've got three of them, I think. Three people who I feel I can tell anything.

Sandra - you're god damn amazing. I am so glad that we're as close as we are. I'm glad we can debate about silly things and get as heated as we'd like ... and then afterwards, say "I love ya!" and laugh at how passionate we got about something (be it pointless or serious.) I adore how you offer a different perspective to me. I'm a huge dreamer. I suck at being realistic half the time. But, you always remind me that I can't expect a clone of Orlando Bloom to bump into me in the street and then for the rest of my life to be like the perfect chick flick. You're such a good friend to me and I'm glad you're getting better with opening up and comforting touches. Don't you ever forget how awesome you are. And anyone reading this who isn't Sandra, go check her dA page out. ~DrownedDenial90.

Lindsey - you don't have a deviantART page or myspace or any of those frivolous things. I still am going to write this as if I'm talking to you, though. You're an important person in my life, too. You were my very first friend when I moved to New Hampshire. I'm glad I sat in the front row, third seat from the right in first period; and I'm glad you happened to sit beside me. I'm glad that you initiated a conversation and asked, "Hey -- want to eat lunch with me?" I'm glad that what you may have expected to be a mere acquaintance once I got to know other people turned into a brilliant friendship that is going on its third year this fall. You are that in-between, happy medium in our little group of three that consists of Sandra, you, and me. You were my first real friend here, and I cherish our friendship one hundred percent. You, too, are an amazing person.

And, lastly, Emily - I've known you longer than the two above. Six years, about. Isn't that insane? We've grown so much as people. We've changed a ton. You're someone who I have so much in common with ... But at the same time, we've got enough difference to add to our compatibility. You're a lot more realistic than I am. Your passion is writing while mine is acting. But, we've influenced one another in so many ways. You're truly one of my, if not my very, best friends. When something good or bad happens, the first thing I think is "I have to tell Emily." I can't imagine where I'd be today if I didn't stumble upon you. Being a believer that everything happens for a reason, I feel fully confident in saying that there is a reason why I managed to find you out of the millions of people lurking on the internet. Loo! (~Debunkd)

I'm feeling unusually thoughtful and sappy tonight/this morning. Pardon.

__

(the tentative version.)

1. Chapter 7 illustration (comic-style) of Deathly Hallows. ("Happy seventeeth.") [Currently being worked on.]
2. Digital painting (when I get my new tablet!) of the Weasleys in the OotP movie. (Found an excellent, hi-res screen shot! The one with George, Ginny, Fred, and Ron in the D.A.)
3. Watercolor painting of some scene from Titanic. Probably the "I'm flying!" scene because it's such a classic and the colors in the references I've found for that are brilliant. Pretty sunset colors. x)
4. Captain Teague and Jack Sparrow from PotC3. Found a great reference for this. I think I might do this as a digital work ... But I'm still undecided.
5. Pencil work of the OotP poster. (The one with the trio, Neville, Ginny, Luna, and Cho.)
6. ~aqane's contest prize. I think I may want to do this in photoshop when I have my tablet. I don't feel comfortable to do a full-blown colored pencil piece yet. Heh. Let me know what you want, though, Aqane and I'll cater to that. Colored pencil will just take even longer.
7. ~MissDynamic's contest prize.

"Words have no borders." - Vladimir Nabokov
I love you too <3

You and Lindsey... I guess I feel like you're the first real friends I've ever had. I never used to share how I was feeling with anyone but you guys have helped me out so much even if you didn't realize you were doing it.

I look forward to an amazing senior year full of heated debates over various fandoms and silly stuff~

And I have a confession...

Even though my realistic nature cringes at me as I type this... seeing you so full of belief in dreams coming true makes me hope that maybe life isn't so 'realistic' after all and that anything can happen no matter how unrealistic it seems.

You give me hope.

Dan: You're such a n00b Sandra
Me: Shut up.
Dan: Nub.
Me: Wtf is a nub?
Dan: A n00b.
<3 that means a lot to me, that I give you some sort of hope.
