Artist's Commentsreference: [link] I saw that image and immediately wanted to draw it. After receiving permission from the photographer, I went to town! This was initially just going to be a simple little sketch-with-color to do between sessions of working on my commission, but it sort of took on a life of its own. And- well. I'm really quite fond of this piece. It captures the youth and sweet sort of passion that I imagine for my characters Dali and Caleb. So, it's them. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
