so, a local theatre asked my friend and I (~love-and-music) to paint a mural for the harry potter premiere! we're starting tomorrow, having sketched and figured everything out tonight. it's going to be a huge project, but we're both excited for it. we aren't actually getting paid, but we're receiving free stuff from the theatre. mainly, this is going to be so much exposure for us! that's what I'm most excited for. this is a huge summer blockbuster and, yeah- even though it's a local theatre, a lot of people are going to see this movie! that means we'll get a whole new level of exposure and can maybe get some more commissions/sales out of this. either way, it's going to be a great project and experience. I can't wait to start. c: (plus, I freakin' love harry potter so this is a wicked awesome way to show my love for it! and, funnily enough- brittany [my friend] doesn't really read the books. I'm enough of a fan to carry us through, though.)
